Children’s Art Day Extravaganza with SP8 of the Art – London 9th July

Hello all, Speight of the Art’s London region have an exciting event planned for the 9th July where we will be supporting national Art Week with our very own art extravaganza featuring some very special guests.

London sp8 team assembled at The Royal Festival Hall for inaugral meeting

In mid December, the London sp8 team assembled at The Royal Festival Hall for their first inaurugal meeting. We can now confirm that we have a core creative team of four artists from various backgrounds including TV, painting, sculpture and drama.

We have appointed our honorary secretary and treasurer, events and press officer. We have within the team a range of knowledge and skill that will surely benefit the foundation as we set about the work ahead.

My name is Martin and I am your Greater London region co ordinator and what an exciting challenge we have ahead. I met Mark back in 2005 when he helped us open an Art Studio we designed for children in West London. Mark was marvelous and I experienced at first hand his ability to communicate with children without reserve and they responded in a manner that only true understanding and friendship brings.
