Alison D. Baxter - Scotland
I was born in the town of Hawick, Roxburghshire in 1954. Hawick is a small town in the Borders – a very picturesque area of Scotland.
I trained as a Primary School Teacher at Callendar Park College of Education, Falkirk, Stirlingshire.
My teaching career has spanned over 32 years. I have taught from Nursery through to the final stages of Primary School.
I am married to Geoff Baxter. He works from home and runs his own Video Production Company – filming and editing any aspect required.
I have no family – only a bearded collie puppy of 6 months!!
I drive a P.T. Cruiser – which is great fun!!
I have recently taken up water colour painting – something I have always wanted to do. After attending a couple of classes, I started painting flowers on small pieces of paper and have made these into cards – I am now in the process of trying to market them or set up a website.
I enjoy going to the cinema, theatre and visiting Art Galleries. I visit Edinburgh, a lot, having lived there for 16 years, and having connections there. I always like to know “What’s On” – even if I am unable to go to events, but try to keep up with as much as possible.
