Hi there, I'm Jane, a practising artist and Skills for Life Lecturer from North Wiltshire.

Having studied Art & Design for many years, culminating in a Degree in Arts & Education, a PGCE, and a whole wealth of working with individuals and groups, both art based and in Maths & English, which I usually end up teaching by drawing!

Previously I have run my own small bijou gallery, I now work from my home 'art shed', working on a range of commissions as well as supporting SP8. Working mostly in 2D media, I cannot limit myself to just one style, I am a compulsive artist who uses what material I feel is necessary for the piece! Mostly painting & drawing, I also enjoy the fluidity of silk painting, the use of light in photography, and even a spot of printmaking!

Working with SP8 is such an honour, a way to give back to community and encourage people to pick up a pencil and enjoy being creative.

Family time is quality time for me, my three year old loves attacking 'Mummy's art box' and although its abstract there is potential! Ben my rescue dog enjoys the local walks, we are currently developing the garden to make it an adventure ground for children and animals alike!
