I am quite willing to be a Regional Co-ordinator, however, my Art ability is nil lol.............. will this hinder my chances?

I miss seeing Mark on SMart and other such programs, he was one of the key people who got me interested in art. His way of presenting made me feel better about my lack of cartooning skills, and helped me get better! I am stille jealous of those wonderful felt brush tip pens he always used!
I would love to find out more about what being a regional co-ordinator is, and whether there are any age restrictions.. etc.

I saw Mark's father on BBC this morning, hence how I found this site. I think the idea is wonderful and I want to get involved! =)

Would be great to help with such an exciting project - I have project co-ordinator and event experience not in the arts - happy to learn all I can from anything new! Let us inspire creativity and learning.

I saw the interview with Oliver Speight on the BBC this morning and thought it was brilliant!

I am an art teacher at a primary school in North Yorkshire. I have 17 years experience of teaching and I am currently developing the PAINT project, enabling children to get involved with creative activities in the visual arts. We have run workshops and arranged gallery visits for hundreds of children over the past year.

I am very interested to find out more about being your regional coordinator for the North-east. As well as my teaching experience I have been involved with applying for funding, organising and delivering workshops and exhibitions.
