Hi All,
Happy New Year!
As you may already know, I am the website admin for speightoftheart.org.uk, and I am hoping this year to make the site a focal point for Speight of the Art in terms of interaction and publicity. I need your help in achieving this!
Lots of fun at the Youth 4 Youth festival!.
Its been a long day at the Youth 4 youth festival in Kingswood!
It was a bit of a slow start, and as we were tucked away in a back room not many people knew we were there. After a quick putting up of some hastily made signs with arrows pointing our way, & one of our crew ( Good old Steve!) going around handing out lots of leaflets and herding up a few people in our direction, a slow trickle of folk started showing interest.

I’ve had a few emails from people who want to know how to start adding items to the website such as blogs, forum posts and pictures so I am in the process of adding a few screen casts up onto my YouTube profile page explaining these things step by step. Hopefully there will be several online by the end of the week and you will be able to find these at www.youtube.com/jennys17 I hope they will be of help. Youth for youth festival 5th sept
Hello all!
I've been rubbish and this is my 1st proper blog! Ah well!
Just to let you know I will have a stand at the youth 4 youth music festival on the 5th of Sept. I'm hoping it should be a good giggle, and will be doing a self portrait competition and a decorate the fish competition, with goody bags for the winners!
Groundworks Cartoon Workshop
12th August Groundworks, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent.
I wanted to say how great the kids were at the cartoon workshop, very enthusiastic & stacks of ideas plus of course great cartoons by them. Thanks also to the staff at Groundworks for making us welcome & the helpers who were pretty good at cartooning as well.
I'm looking forward to the next on the 17th.

Children’s Art Day Extravaganza with SP8 of the Art – London 9th July

Oliver's update
Time flies! So much has happened in the last 3-4 months with visits to N. Ireland, a comprehensive arts day at Teagues School, Telford (which attracted the attention of both national and local TV, radio and regional press agencies respectively) together with an innovative and creative workshop at McDonalds restaurant, Newcastle under Lyme, adding variety to the spice of local children's lives.
