I'm busy preparing for our first event in Burnham on Sea - a family art activity day. A group of four local artists and I will be providing opportunities for local people and tourists to try making dreamcatchers, clay tiles, collage and willow butterflies. This is part of the River Brue Festival which was started last year. Other activities include a sculpture trail with guided walks, mural painting, a 'Draw Burnham' day and a craft fair. The event runs from 1-2 August, the family tent only on the 2nd (in the Apex Park). Its totally FREE!!! and starts at 10.00 until 4.00 when I expect we will all collapse into a large heap exhausted. The sculpture trail starts at Burnham Marina and ends at Highbridge on the River Brue Cycle Path. We're only 10 mins from J22 of the M5 so breeze on down to the Brue.
