I am Jilly Ann Stubbs and I live and always have lived in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. I live with my husband David and my three children Robert, Christian and Lauren. Oops, and not forgetting our cuddly, Golden Retriever dog Jamie!

I have always been creative in many aspects. I enjoy embroidery, knitting, making soft furnishings and creative writing. I have restored or redesigned old furniture. I have helped to design and build my own house.

I also enjoy running, walking the dog, cycling, swimming, gym exercise, going to Church, eating out, but mainly I enjoy the company of family and friends.

Despite never knowing Mark, I feel great sadness for the loss of Mark for his family, friends and for the children of the United Kingdom who knew him. The children who would have avidly enjoyed Mark’s television programmes, who would have admired his mega-outstanding talent and learnt the skills he taught them entwined with the unique delivery of much fun and laughter. Artistic talent which should never be forgotten!

For this reason I feel inspired to assist the Foundation in keeping ‘Mark’s Legacy’ alive seeking out artistic talent and nurturing any artistic ability any child may have and help providing artistic opportunities for all children.

I am a people person who enjoys helping and caring for others. I love being with children and to encourage them in what ever they wish to achieve. I like kindness, positivity and confidence building both among children and adults. I especially like humour and looking at the funny side of life.

Basically, I like creating ‘Happiness’, which with the support of others with in my role as a Regional Coordinator for Head Quarters and North Staffs area I will endeavour to achieve!
