Website 2010
Hi All,
Happy New Year!
As you may already know, I am the website admin for speightoftheart.org.uk, and I am hoping this year to make the site a focal point for Speight of the Art in terms of interaction and publicity. I need your help in achieving this!
To make the site successful it needs to be updated on a regular basis with news/upcoming events/photos/blogs etc. and it would be great if I could get your input so that we can represent the work of the Foundation in your region. Whether this is by letting me know about events that are currently planned (which in turn will give them added publicity through being included on the Facebook and Twitter pages), any projects you have in schools, any reports/photos you have from previous events, any family friendly art exhibitions/galleries you know of, blog entries or suggestions for the site itself, absolutely anything you think may be of interest would be a welcome addition.
I want to make the site a place where all the great things the Foundation is doing around the country can be linked together, giving people the opportunity to interact and share tips and advice on planning more events. If you could do this by using your profile on the site that would be helpful, but as I know it can be time consuming logging on etc, an alternative would be if you could email me every few weeks with a brief update on what’s happening in your area. I can then add items to the site on your behalf. This way it takes the strain off you and keeps the site updated at regular intervals.
We have some exciting things planned for our online presence this year including a new dedicated kid’s site that is currently being designed by Steve Rack, and it would be good if we could turn the main site into a place to discuss and plan events, a site for co-ordinators and volunteers. So let me know what’s happening in your area and I hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks!
Jenny
