SP8 OF THE ART – THE MARK SPEIGHT FOUNDATION
The SP8 of the Art Foundation has been established in order to fulfil two aims: To seek out future artistic skills and talent in children aged between 4 and 18, in all its various forms including portraiture, landscape, fashion design, architecture, graphic design, sculpture and modern art. To promote and encourage the involvement of all young people in art (as defined above) as a means of self expression; contributing to personal and community development. Coalbrookdale event a great success!
01/03/2010 - 13:24Coalbrookdale Primary School ‘Speight of the Art’ Art Event November 9th-13th
The whole week was fantastic. The aim of the week was to assist the School in delivering high standard art workshops in a variety of different art forms within the School environment. The theme for the week was ‘Present, Past and Future’. Specialist ‘Speight of the Art’ Artistes from all over the UK volunteered their talents and skills and ensured the Children had a superb art inspiring week.
