Corvedale Primary school from Craven Arms, Shropshire were the first school to participate in this 2 month long project in which pupils from over 12 Shropshire schools are undertaking a range of artistic workshops led by professional artists and held at both Shrewsbury and Telford Colleges of Art and Technology.

On 23rd February, children at Moorpark Junior School enjoyed a 'Speight of the Art Day' at Stoke College, full of fun art activities. On offer was everything from design to dance and music production. Here's what The Sentinel had to say about it:

"Children took part in art workshops with help from college students. Youngsters from Moorpark Junior School, in Burslem, enjoyed a day of crafts at Stoke-on-Trent College yesterday. They were helped to make masks in the classes organised by the Speight of the Art Foundation.
